Welcome to Maass Media!

My goal for this blog is to share the music I listen to with as many people as possible.  If this is your first time here, all you need to know is that everyday I post good songs from different genres of music.  There is a list of genres on the left - clicking on a genre will lead you to a list of songs (with links to hear them) that I have posted on my blog.

Any time you see a portion of text in brown that means it's a link.  If you want to leave a comment, click on the comment box at the bottom of the post you want to comment on.  Rock on!

Rock Bottom

I hit rock bottom today : (

It all started when I went to The Outback with my dad tonight. Everything was going great until the check came. As my father wrote out the tip, he commented "This is a really nice pen Aaron". Hmmm. He was right, it was a nice pen. Didn't smear, very comfortable to hold and write with. "I could use a good pen" I thought to myself, all while contemplating the ramifications of my next move. I could leave the pen and miss the chance to have a nice writing utensil, or I could take the pen and sacrifice my dignity.

I stepped into my house one pen richer, and proceeded to check out how TheMaassMedia was doing. All things considered, I had a good day in terms of hits. I beat my previous record for a day by 40. But I wanted more. I logged into facebook and started to spread the word about my blog in some of those massive groups. I was on a roll until...

I hit it. Rock Bottom. Also a great song by UFO, performed live below.

A sad, sad day for me

Damn right you post this song Happy. 10 minutes of epic rock solos from the best headbangers the world has never heard of. It's like somebody took a dump in Freebirds shoe, and Freebird walked around all day in it, cocky as ever, never realizing it was there. Then at the end of the day, when it begins to pleasure itself while looking in the mirror, its like "AHHH, man I'm covered in shit" And Rock Bottom stands there staring through the window...knowing it has won. And then it teabags freebird.

That's one way to describe Rock Bottom. Any time I hear this song I think of your minivan.
