Welcome to Maass Media!

My goal for this blog is to share the music I listen to with as many people as possible.  If this is your first time here, all you need to know is that everyday I post good songs from different genres of music.  There is a list of genres on the left - clicking on a genre will lead you to a list of songs (with links to hear them) that I have posted on my blog.

Any time you see a portion of text in brown that means it's a link.  If you want to leave a comment, click on the comment box at the bottom of the post you want to comment on.  Rock on!

Anna Graham's Daily Dose of Jam

Just in case you need another reason to despise the New York Yankees as much as I do, they now offically have the 4 biggest contracts on their payroll. You can read more about it here.

As Christmas is rapidly approaching, and Hanukkah is already underway, you may find yourself in need of some good holiday drinks. My friend from work recommended this site, and he's practically an alcoholic, so you know he's credible.

Anna - you're practically the best person ever. I love the Dear Sister parody you made for Matt and I last year. (I can't embed the video on TheMaassMedia, but you can check it out on her facebook here). One time Anna walked into my house, only to be confronted by my dad. My dad, being the old hippie that he is, shared a revalation with her. "Anna," he pauses, "did you know that Anna spelled backwards is Ohio?"

Anna got me into the Hush Sound. It didn't take much, I'm biased towards songs with piano in them. I love piano. When I'm done with school, I'm gonna have 2 years of vocal lessons and a jazz degree under my belt. Plus I'll have two years of Italian. Women will fight for me. Back to Anna. Here's a song I'm sure she'll like, Wine Red by The Hush Sound.

I'm really down about the fall series of a lot of TV shows ending. Nothing on TV to watch besides old reruns of Monk. No House. No Heroes. No Office. No It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. The only thing that I would watch isn't even on TV. I'm talking of course about the National Dreidel Championships.

Enjoy!
