Welcome to Maass Media!

My goal for this blog is to share the music I listen to with as many people as possible.  If this is your first time here, all you need to know is that everyday I post good songs from different genres of music.  There is a list of genres on the left - clicking on a genre will lead you to a list of songs (with links to hear them) that I have posted on my blog.

Any time you see a portion of text in brown that means it's a link.  If you want to leave a comment, click on the comment box at the bottom of the post you want to comment on.  Rock on!

It's Good to be Back

I'M BACK!
And just in time for the new year :)

The cable lines were down by my house, so I was left to fend for myself with no TV or internet for 3 days. Luckily these awesome penguins fixed everything (left).

Here's a quick recap of what happened in my life the past couple of days.
  • I got a bunch of gift cards from some of the parents of the kids I work with at the JCYS. I wish they gave me cash; you can't buy weed with $40 to Target...
  • I met/fed a Vegan.
  • I invited people over from work to hang out. I figured half of them wouldn't show up because they had other plans, but to my surprise I found 11 people at my front door. My first thought was what the f*ck am I gonna do with all these boots?
  • I bought my mom a gift at Steinmart (I work there) because I felt it was a nice thing to do. After we close, all the employee purchases were placed on the front register. Whether it was an accident or on purpose I'll never know, but someone took my gift.
Speaking of gifts, I found the perfect gift for myself online a couple days ago. If you're like me (God bless your soul if you are) and you are a sound quality nut then check out this portable speaker. It has great bass response, which is rare for portable speakers. Plus it's only $39.99

I have many goals in life. Such as...
  • Learning Italian
  • Recording multiple albums, many of which will go platinum
  • Visiting all 50 states
  • Keeping all of my close friends...for blackmailing purposes
With all this being said, doing this is not one of my goals. I apologize for the terrible pun and the long drawn out intro for a YouTube video of The Top 10 Greatest Own Goals in Professional Sports History.

Here's Halo by Porcupine Tree. Great alternative/progressive band from across the pond.

!!!HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
