Phil Levin's Daily Dose of Jam

Fate smiled upon me today. As many of you know, I'm working on getting a new website built - one that can stream music legally. In order to do that, I need a copyright lawyer to help me get through the necessary paperwork. In a normal, unlucky world, I would have to spend a couple hundred dollars to get an hour of professional advice. Not today.

As Adrian Monk would say, here's what happened. I was at Steinmart today, talking to my friend Matt. I asked him if he knew any copyright lawyers. Before he could say no, the customer standing nearby was like "My daughter is a copyright lawyer. She's in the ladies department if you want to talk to her". I was floored. Long story short, I'm not going to have to pay any money to get some free legal consult. Awesome.

Unfortunately, once I start building my new website, BMI is going to be breathing down my neck, so I'm going to have to find another way to get music on this blog. Or I'll have to keep it a secret. I'll cros that bridge when I get there.

I haven't heard from my good friend Phil Levin in a while. I introduced him to Nappy Roots, a great southern hip hop band. Here's one of their biggest hits, Aww Naw.
