My goal for this blog is to share the music I listen to with as many people as possible.  If this is your first time here, all you need to know is that everyday I post good songs from different genres of music.  There is a list of genres on the left - clicking on a genre will lead you to a list of songs (with links to hear them) that I have posted on my blog.

Snow what? Aaron's mom's double dose of jam

I couldn’t resist the pun, especially with the Chicagoland weather forecast blizzard advisory. This Miles Davis’ piece is “So what?” taken from probably one of the greatest jazz sessions ever put to vinyl: “Kinda Blue.” Think of it as background music as you stare out the window into a white-out.



Happy will be home soon, so then I won’t be kinda blue. But you’ll all be heading out, and then Happy’ll be kinda blue.

To liven up things a bit, my second dose is classic hippie ca-ca jam from Canned Heat, “On the Road Again.”.



I'll miss all his friends stomping into the house, and the mountain of shoes left behind in our foyer. (A foyer? I mean the slab of tiles the size of a postage-stamp!) C'mon back soon: the door will be open. Be safe everyone! Peace and prayers,and a good semester to you all. Happy's mom.
