Welcome to Maass Media!

My goal for this blog is to share the music I listen to with as many people as possible.  If this is your first time here, all you need to know is that everyday I post good songs from different genres of music.  There is a list of genres on the left - clicking on a genre will lead you to a list of songs (with links to hear them) that I have posted on my blog.

Any time you see a portion of text in brown that means it's a link.  If you want to leave a comment, click on the comment box at the bottom of the post you want to comment on.  Rock on!

A bit about Bobbie

There is a cool video here aboutBob Dylan, focusing on his creativity during those years he lived above the Cafe Espresso in Woodstock, NY. As it turns out, the Woodstock fathers did not want the Woodstock festival held in their town (enter Max Yasgur and his memorable farm)... Also, Dylan did not sing at "Woodstock." One of his kids was sick at the time they were negotiating his appearance, so he pulled out. Plus he wasn't very happy about the invasion of hippies to a site too close to his house. Anyway, put this short URL in your browser:

Hallelujah! Wow, the acoustics are terrible: sounds like he's singing through a tuna fish can.
